Silver StorySLAM:Live will showcase tales and memories of the 1951 Festival of Britain, performed by local residents.
Southbank Centre and StorySLAM:Live will be running writing workshops with older people in Southwark and Lambeth and helping them to weave their memories into a narrative to perform live as part of the 60th anniversary celebrations.
Local young people will also work with residents in local sheltered accommodation to bring their memories alive and will represent them at the live event.
